Request to all visitors

Measures to prevent novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the Natsume Soseki Memorial Museum

The staff members take measures as the following:
– We take our temperature every day.
– We wear face masks and clean our fingers using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer appropriately, when we communicate with visitors within the museum.
– We install droplet prevention sheets at the counter.
– We disinfect the museum regularly.

Please be advised that you refrain from visiting the museum if:
– You have symptoms such as a fever, cough or a sore throat.
– You feel strong fatigue or difficulty in breathing.
– Someone in your household or workplace is a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patient.
– You are unwell.

Please note the following while viewing:
– We will measure your temperature before entry.
– Please clean your fingers using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
– Please do not touch the display cases.
– Please maintain adequate distance from other people.
– Please refrain from talking.

In order to avoid crowding of people in the exhibition room, we may restrict admission. When the museum is too crowded, we may decline your entry.

Please understand that we may ask you for your cooperation to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 infection.

If someone infected with COVID-19 is found in visitors or the staff of the museum, depending on the situation we will offer you the information on the website of each facility. Please take notes the date and time of your visit to the museum and check our website.
